Funny Money: Woman Sells Cheating Ex’s Stuff with Risque Photos

This is an amusing story, though the site below is not necessarily safe for work.

A woman who supported her ex for 5 years found out he had cheated on her so she kicked him out, locked the doors, and proceeded to sell all of his belongings on ebay.  Because he was the jealous type and she was forced to always dress conservatively, she started selling all of these items with almost nude pictures of her modeling them.

You can visit her “semi-risque” site at: http://myexboyfriendscloset.com (beware, it’s probably NSFW)

About a month after our break-up my friend came over to cheer me up with a couple bottles of wine (haha, yes a couple). Half way through the second bottle she asked me what I was going to do with all his stuff. At first I thought of throwing it away or donating it, but some silly part of me was holding on to it. When I told my friend I should sell it (haphazardly joking) she laughed and said lets open an eBay account! Wine + Laptop + Camera = MyExBoyfriendsCloset!

Lesson Learned:
While the story and outcome are hilarious, there are two important lessons here.

  1. Never full-on support someone for so long who is capable of working and is just “not”, and don’t spend  so much on unnecessary items.  You’re enabling (yes I love the word enabling) them to continue to feed off of your hard work.  This man definitely got a free ride in this situation.
  2. Be creative when figuring out what to do with JUNK.  This woman is going to make great $$ off of her idea, I mean it’s already in the news.
